Ergonomically Correct & Accurate

The Hira-To® Fixture is designed and contoured to fit the hand! It also positions the hand to perfectly mimic the same free-hand style used by Japanese bladesmiths in the factories. Simply set your desired angle and go! This Fixture replaces years of practice with the science of a simple machine! No more guess work when convexing on a flat hone! This Fixture will hold your angle perfectly every time!

Left & Right Hand Shears

The first flat hone clamping system to do both right and left hand shears! Simply rotate your stop 365 degrees, and your ready to do a true left hand shear! Once you’re done, rotate back and you’re ready to do rights again! The sliding arm makes it easy to adjust your position as you transition from right to left. It also allows you to sharpen the entire face of the convexed edge!

Accurate Angle Every Time

The Fixture can be set for angles ranging from 25 degrees to 65 degrees. Once you set your angle, simply rotate from that stop to create a perfect convexed surface AND a perfect edge!

5 Watt Halogen Light

The Hira-To® High Intensity 5 Watt Quarts Halogen Light casts a brilliant shine so you can watch your burr form as you create your new edge!
